Pastor Ben Grisez

Ben was born and raised in San Diego, California and came to Christ in 1980 at Calvary Chapel El Cajon. He grew up in the church and spent 11 years as a Local 5 union insulator. While in university, Ben began serving and teaching Sunday School and was was ordained as a youth pastor in 2006. Having been led by the LORD to minister on the east side of Australia, in 2010 Ben interviewed for a vacant pastoral position in Calvary Chapel Sydney, and ultimately accepted the role as senior pastor. Ben is married to Laura and they share two adult sons, Zed and Abel. He enjoys baking, spicy food, games and making regular contributions to his Christian blog at marchforth2oz.blogspot.com.
